There are over seven thousand languages in the world. As Ireland becomes home to people with diverse cultures, our surroundings change in a variety of ways to reflect new communities living here. This resource provides a great opportunity for schools to examine and explore the linguistic diversity of the school community.

Students will explore the many languages spoken within the school community. Students will also examine the very concept of language.
